A Few Tasty Eats

It's usually too packed to go to some of the more popular restaurant here without a decent wait time that starving stomachs after a day of boarding just can't take. Fortunately, we were able to get in a few interesting meals.

Peaked Pies

Australian meat pies with mashed peas, potato, and gravy. They had several flavors, this one being steak with Western and Indian spices.

Pure Bread - Function Junction

This is their smaller location, but still offering quite a selection of delicious baked goods.

We had a meat and leek quiche as well as the best cheese "toastie" ever. Three cheeses, fresh mustard, and caramelized leek and onion. It was dripping cheese it was so thick.

Whistler Brewing Company is right across the street. We tasted the Maple Chai beer. It's basically liquid dessert. Strong tastes of, well, maple syrup. Then you get a bit of chai at the end. Pretty tasty!

Elements Tapas Bar

Pork belly with delicate fresh green

Mussels in Thai curry sauce

Elements had a nice selection of dishes with world flavors, although more like half plates than actual tapas size! More food, fine for us.
