Soy milk Breakfast

The day started again with soymilk. I had to have my manditory yogurt too, but was pleasantly surprised to find chunks of coconut jelly mixed in. Headed off to school to check in then went to eat lunch nearby. 'Ching and Travis had beef noodle soup and I had clams with loofah squash. Really good clams. Good soup and noodles too. We then proceeded to journey to Taoyuan where Liching's parent's live. It took several trains and busses to get here, but the drive was very pretty. Public transportation here is clean and efficient! Almost immidiately, we got a bobba. Best one so far. I had passionfruit green tea, seeds and all, with coconut jelly. Travis had a melon tea.
Passion fruit with pearls. Delicious, from coco's. They have such a selection!

Best clam dish I've ever had.

Spent most of the afternoon taking pictures of a beatiful Buddhist temple, and learned about some of the rituals there. Very interesting, since I am familiar with Indian Buddhism, and less with the type practiced here. Very pretty carvings! Walked around for hours taking pictures and ran into a pretty awesome car shop. Got distracted there for at least an hour then the same thing at the fish store. Liching's mom made yummy chicken. The chicken here is so good you don't even have to season it. Ended the night with a cream puff sitting out at a cafe. Lots of things are open, even here, far from Taipei.
