Famous icon of Alsace, the stork. The story of babies being delivered by storks originated here. We were able to get only a foot away from one at a truck stop's strawberry garden and lotus pond. He was huge! And pretty neat looking.

An elderly living community in the neighborhood. Notice the stork nests on the roof. There were all sorts of animals for the people to come out and see. Birds, cats, rabbits...
