The Garden District is full of huge houses with beautiful architecture and also home of the Lafayette Cemetery no. 1
Wall graves
All of the cemeteries here have above ground graves due to the land being so close to sea level. Many are quite old, but all look aged several hundred years.
New Orleans is full of fun colors and decorative woodwork
