Prior to today, we had never been to Tienlai. Our research indicated- It was awesome, and somehow we just knew it would be the perfect place.
We spent the morning at Ivy Bride busy with makeup and hair (yes, even Travis), stocked up on rice balls and five spice jerky, and drove up into the mountains. With no time to spare, we got dressed and headed out onto the mountainside. No time to look around or collect ourselves, nothing. And then, it began.
Delicious Pre-Dinner Snacks
Only true boba love (I have a serious problem) can make a tea appear out of nowhere, when boba is at least 15 miles away (apparently one of the staff heard me talking about it and had one she bought for lunch and graciously offered it for this straw poking celebratory shot)
